TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE For Patch Testing.
Please ensure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions below. This document forms part of the agreement between you and Blush & Roses.
At Blush & Roses, your safety and comfort are our top priorities. To comply with professional guidelines and our insurance and to also ensure the highest level of care, a patch test is required before all technical services involving colour or tinting.
When a Patch test is required:
-
All new colour clients
-
Colour or toner services new or after 6 months gap
-
Scalp bleach or high lift blonding
-
Root tints, full head tints, balayage, highlights with toners
-
Any new brand or formula used on your hair
-
Certain treatments or services applied close to the skin
-
Eyelash or eyebrow tinting
Whats involved:
A small amount of product is allied to the skin this used to be typically behind the ear we have now been advised to put this on the inner part of your arm / crease of your elbow. This will be required 48 hours before your appointment. This helps detect any allergic or sensitivity reaction. The process is quick, non-invasive, and a vital step in your safety.
Why is it important:
Reactions to colour products- though rare- can be serious. Patch testing helps prevent allergic reactions and ensures that your service can be carried out with confidence. Even if you've had colour before elsewhere, we may use different formulas or products, so a fresh test is always required.
Please Note:
-
We cannot perform your service without a valid patch test on file
-
Patch tests must be one in person at the salon
-
They must be completed 48 hours before your appointment
-
Appointments which have not had a patch test done will incur a 100% fee of the full amount if not booked in 48 hours before as stylists time would have been booked and the service cannot go ahead falling into our cancellation policy.
Book Your patch test:
Please book your consultation online using our booking system or alternatively please fill out the form and one of our stylists will get back to you, alternatively you can visit us in salon when we are open. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you safely to our salon.
